Field Hockey Player of the Week
Annie Leonard Elizabeth Turnbull
Amherst College
Senior • Midfielder • Harding Township, N.J.

Turnbull recorded four of Amherst’s five goals, including the game-winner in each contest, in wins over Mount Holyoke (3-2) and Bowdoin (2-1). The Mammoths earned their first victory versus the Polar Bears since 2013. Turnbull converted on four-of-five shot attempts to finish the week with a .800 shot percentage, including a clutch penalty stroke score with 10:25 to play against Bowdoin.
Volleyball Player of the Week

First Year • Setter • Volo, Ill.

Kiser was outstanding in a 3-1 week for the Polar Bears. She averaged 11.5 assists per set while also racking up 3.0 digs and 1.13 kills per set in her collegiate debut. In Bowdoin’s lone loss of the week, a five-setter to Minnesota-Morris on Saturday, she recorded 61 assists, the second-highest total in a single match in program history.
Men's Soccer Player of the Week

First Year • Goalkeeper • West Chester, Pa.

Marcucci helped lead Connecticut College to a perfect 2-0 week to begin the 2017 campaign. He made 11 saves, including several from point-blank range, in the Camels’ 2-1 win at Middlebury. Helping the Camel’s defeat Middlebury for the first time since 1992 and snapping an 18-match winless streak against the Panthers. He held Mitchell scoreless in the 67 minutes he saw action in net in a win for the Camels.
Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Sarah Scire
Williams College
Sophomore • Forward • Wykoff, N.J.

Scire scored three goals and added an assist as the Ephs opened the season with three wins, two of them against conference opponents. In a season-opening 3-1 over Hamilton, she scored once. She assisted the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory versus Trinity, then added two more tallies, including the game-winner, in a 4-0 victory at Skidmore.
Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week
Bryce Murdick Bryce Murdick
Hamilton College
Sophomore • Sandwich, N.H.

Murdick was the first Hamilton runner to cross the finish line at the Hamilton Short Course Cross Country Invitational with a time of 15:29.1. He placed fifth out of 170 runners in the 5K race.

Cook and LaMarche led the way for the Bobcats in a 78-32 victory over Colby in the Bates-Colby Class Races. They posted matching times of 16:53 over the 2.84-mile course.
