Greg Kalmiskii

Kalmiskii won two events and finished second against Connecticut College. He won the 1,000 freestyle (9:51.76), just .03 seconds off the school record he set last week in a win against Bowdoin. Kalmiskii returned to the pool eight events later to take second in the 200 butterfly (1:56.26) and closed out the day winning the 200 backstroke in a pool record time of 1:55.43. He also led off the second-place 400 freestyle relay (which would have been five seconds under the pool record) in 48.42 seconds. He finished the dual meet season having lost just two races.

Ingrid Shu
Amherst College
First Year • Montville, N.J.

Shu posted four first-place finishes at MIT. She won the 50 freestyle (24.52 seconds) and added a win in the 100 freestyle (53.33 seconds). She opened the meet contributing a 23.81-second freestyle split on the first-place 200 medley relay (final time 1:47.88). Additionally, Shu swam the anchor leg of the first-place 200 freestyle relay with a split of 23.86 seconds (final time 1:37.38).

Liam Egan
Trinity College
First Year • Rye, N.Y.

Egan led the Bantams to wins against Colby and Wesleyan. He won the 50 and 200 freestyle races while posting the fastest time in an exhibition swim in the 50 butterfly. Egan broke two Trinity College school records and just missed making it four. Liam broke the school record in the 100 freestyle (47.12 seconds) and the 200 freestyle (1:43.51). His time in the 50 butterfly (23.70 seconds) was .09 seconds off the school record and his 50 freestyle (21.88 seconds) was .48 seconds off the school record.

Natalie Rumpelt
Amherst College
First Year • Loudonville, N.Y.

Rumpelt posted three first-place finishes and one second-place finish to lead the Purple & White to a win over Connecticut College. She posted a first-place time of 52.51 seconds in the 100 freestyle and a winning time of 1:53.17 in the 200 freestyle. She began her outstanding performance by contributing a 23.69-second freestyle split on the second-place 200 medley relay (final time 1:47.33). Additionally, Rumpelt swam the lead off leg of the first-place 200 freestyle relay with a split of 24.55 seconds (final time 1:36.62).

Olivia Jackson
Williams College
Senior • Darien, Conn.

Jackson continued her season long streak of great backstroke performances with a pair of wins against MIT. Her times of 57.69 seconds and 2:03.33 in the 100 and 200 backstroke events, respectively, were right on her season bests. Showing her versatility, she also recorded a split of 24.27 seconds in the 200 freestyle relay and swam her first ever 1000 freestyle on at Middlebury, posting a time of 10:49.73.

Matt Rohrer
Tufts University
Senior • Katonah, N.Y.

Rohrer had two great performances on senior day against MIT. He won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events with scores of 328.94 and 395.63, respectively. Both marks reached the NCAA Provisional qualifying standards. The scores were also season bests and tops in the NESCAC this season.

Mary Erb
Connecticut College
First Year • Readfield, Maine

Erb broke two Connecticut College records on Saturday versus Williams. In the 100 breaststroke, she registered a new record time of 1:05.65 and followed up with a time of 2:21.95 in the 200 breaststroke to set another Camel program mark. Her time in the 200 breaststroke reached the NCAA B qualifying mark.

Ben Lin
Williams College
Senior • Short Hills, N.J.

Lin had a solid day in the Ephs’ win over Amherst. He led off the winning 400 medley relay team in a fast 48.87 seconds, won the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.2 and followed up with his third win of the day with a mark 1:49.06 in the 200 backstroke. Both backstroke times are the tops in the league.

Caroline White
Williams College
First Year • Winter Park, Fla.

White had a successful day in the Ephs’ win over Amherst on Saturday. She swam the breaststroke leg of the 200 medley relay, the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM. She helped the 200 medley relay team to victory with a 29.51 relay split. White then broke the Muir/Samuelson pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.88 and also won the 200 breaststroke sneaking under 2:20 with a 2:19.89. She finished second to a teammate in the 200 IM, finishing with a season best 2:09.13.

Zach Wallace
Tufts University
Junior • La Jolla, Calif.

Wallace led Tufts to a third-place finish at the MIT Invitational and set three school records. He set the Jumbos’ program record in the 200 freestyle (1:41.01), to lead off the 800 freestyle relay, he added a new program mark in the 400 IM preliminaries (3:58.28) and won the 200 IM with a school-record time of 1:51.45.

Emma Waddell
Williams College
Junior • Bangor, Maine

Waddell led the Ephs to a win over Boston College. She stared the meet as the with a split of 24.61 seconds in the butterfly leg on Williams’ winning 200 MR. She also won the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.52 seconds and the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.34 seconds. In addition, she swam the lead-off leg of the 400 freestyle in a time of 52.5 seconds as the Ephs won the event.
